This pima cotton t-shirt is cut from USA Golden Pima cotton at 145g. Pima is a long-staple cotton. Longer fibres spin into a smoother yarn, so the tee feels soft against the skin from the first wear.
At 145g it sits on the light side of our range. It moves sweat away from the body and dries faster than a heavy jersey. Wear it alone on a hot day, or as a base layer under a shirt or a light jacket.
Fit
The fit is loose, with room through the body. Our model wears size M. Sizes run S to XL. If you want a closer line, take one size down. If you plan to layer it under a knit, stay with your usual size.
Colours
Three colours: white, black and gray. White reads clean under an open overshirt. Black hides wear best. Gray sits between the two and goes with almost everything.
Care
Machine wash cold with similar colours. No bleach. Tumble dry low and use a cool iron if needed. Cotton this light dries quickly on a line too. Our cotton care guide covers shrinkage and storage.
Why pima for a light tee
Light tees usually give out at the collar and the hem first, because short cotton fibres break and pill after a summer of washing, while a long-staple pima yarn tends to keep its smooth surface for longer. Wash it cool and it stays soft.
