Got these today, the red is kinda duller than on the site. And the fabric feels a bit rougher than I thought it would. Not horrible, but just not quite what I was hoping for.

Took a mirror pic after trying them on and the red reads a bit deeper in real life, which I liked. I’m around 5'10 and the small sits close without being tight. Wore them with a plain tee and it looked pretty clean.

Got these today. They feel pretty nice, good and soft. The red is a little darker than I expected from the photos, more of a deep maroon. Still good for lounging though.

Where the shape comes from
Kireina is a pleated harem pant, sometimes spelled kirena: the low, full trouser that turns up across many clothing traditions and that Japanese streetwear made its own.
It is the lightest harem cut we stock, the pair to reach for when the weather turns warm.
How it is cut
Pleats at the waist give the volume somewhere to start, and elastic cuffs close it at the ankle so the fabric never catches or drags.
That closed ankle keeps the shape deliberate. It reads as a considered trouser rather than loungewear, which is why it survives being worn out of the house.
Fabric and care
A linen blend at 32% linen, light and dry to the touch.
Hand wash cold, no bleach, and line dry. Follow the care label for anything else.
How to wear it
Keep the top close: a plain tee or a fitted knit lets the trouser carry the volume.
Red, grey, black or navy. Sokai is the same family in a heavier cotton-linen if you want more weight.
Choosing your size
Sizes run XXS to 2XL. The hip runs from 100 cm at XXS to 136.7 cm at 2XL, and the outside length from 94 to 101 cm (waistband to hem, not the inseam). At M the hip is 116.7 cm.
The waist is elasticated and pleated, so it adjusts; the hip is fixed. Read the hip figure first and size to that, and if you carry more through the thigh, one size up is usually more comfortable. MySize Assist, above, does that check for you.
