Why pure linen costs more

Linen earns its price in July. The fiber is hollow and stiff, so the cloth holds itself off the skin and lets air move underneath instead of sticking to you the way cotton does once it is damp.

Flax is also slow. It takes more land, more time and more processing than cotton to reach spinnable fiber, and blending it down with polyester is how most brands hide that cost. These two do not blend it down.

The Igen and the Yasumi

At size M the Igen measures 103 cm long with a 71 cm waist, a 112 cm hip and a 43 cm leg opening. The Yasumi runs a 74 cm waist and a 109 cm hip with a 42.5 cm opening, and it is drafted for two lengths, 93.5 cm cropped or 100 cm full.

Both are 100% linen in a lightweight matte weave with no sheen. Sizes reach S to 3XL and both carry a full size chart. Wash cold and hang dry, because heat is what shrinks linen and it does not relax back out.

In real heat, yes. Pure linen stands off the skin and moves air. A polyester blend closes that structure down and holds warmth against you.

Will they crease?

Heavily, and that is the material behaving normally. Hang dry them and the creases settle into texture instead of sharp folds.
