What packable has to mean

Packability is a real specification and most brands treat it as an adjective. A jacket earns the word when it folds into its own pocket or a bag corner without a fight. It also has to come out without a permanent crease across the back.

Weave density decides that. A fine, tightly spun polyester folds small and springs back. A stiff coated shell does neither.

The six

Chest at size M runs 118 cm on the Lightweight Jacket Wind-Resistant to 130 cm on the fleece-lined Softshell. Body length sits between 67 cm and 74 cm, and sleeve runs 56 cm to 80 cm because the Sun Protection Jacket is drafted long to cover the back of the hand.

Fabrics cover 100% cotton, a 63% polyester and 37% nylon blend, and a lightweight cotton on the Kimono Jacket. All six carry a full size chart, sizes reach XS to 2XL, and shoots use a 187 cm model or taller. Cold wash and hang it to dry.

What makes a jacket packable?

A fine, tightly spun weave that folds small and recovers without a crease. Weight alone does not do it. A stiff coated shell stays stiff folded.

Are lightweight jackets warm enough for winter?

On their own, no. They block wind and rain and layer over a hoodie. For real cold take an insulated coat instead.

Why is one sleeve 80 cm?

The Sun Protection Jacket is drafted long on purpose so the cuff covers the back of the hand, and that is where most people burn on a long day.

What sizes do they reach?

XS to 2XL across the six, and all of them carry a full size chart. The shoots use a 187 cm model at minimum.
