Hem width is the number that changes a trouser most, and it is the one nobody prints on the label. Leg openings at size M run from 25 cm on the Fleece-Lined Sweatpants to 68 cm on the Outdoor Stretch Quick-Dry Shorts. Forty-three centimeters separates them. Same size letter, different garment.

Waist at M sits between 65 cm and 78 cm across the range. Length runs 36 cm to 109 cm. Read those two figures before the letter on the tag.
