Where a short ends is the whole decision, and 18 cm separates the extremes here. Lengths at size M run 36 cm on the Outdoor Stretch Quick-Dry to 54 cm on the Drawstring Cargo. One sits well above the knee. The other covers it.

Leg opening does the rest. It spans 28.8 cm on the Quick-Dry Cooling Stretch to 68 cm on the Outdoor Stretch, so one grips the thigh and the other hangs clear of it.

Two different shorts ranges

Fifty of the sixty-one are printed polyester training shorts drawn from anime series. Light, fast-drying, built for a gym floor, and sized XXS to 3XL so the fit works on a wide range of frames.

The rest are woven cotton, linen and nylon cut for heat instead of training, including a 240 gsm cotton broadcloth and a 50% cotton and 50% linen midweight. All sixty-one carry a full size chart. Waist at size M sits between 65 cm and 76 cm. Photography uses a 187 cm model and up. Wash cold.
