Canvas, chore and work jackets

A canvas jacket is the hard-wearing end of the range: the lined canvas work jacket with a pile lining, the washed canvas chore coat, the padded French chore jacket and the stand collar canvas jacket with frog buttons, all in cotton canvas. Denim and corduroy work jackets sit beside them.

Bombers, coats and shells

Bombers run from the crop bomber and the faux suede bomber to a fleece-lined varsity jacket. For cold days there is the 100% wool zip jacket, a single-breasted topcoat and a water-repellent mac coat. Light polyester shells, softshells and windbreakers cover wind and rain.

A men's linen jacket for summer

For a men's linen jacket, the cotton linen pieces breathe best: the cotton linen noragi, the hanfu jacket, the Chinese tang jacket and the reversible haori cardigan.

Sizes and care

Most jackets run XS to XL, several go from XXS to XXL, and a few, like the cropped peacoat, are one size. Each product page lists body length and sleeve in centimetres, so compare them with a jacket you already own. Wash cold and keep anything with a water-repellent finish out of a hot dryer, because heat is what kills the coating.

By what you need it for

For wind and general outdoor use, outdoor jackets. For packing small, lightweight jackets. For real cold, puffer jackets.

For sun, sun protection jackets. For a short jacket gathered at the waist, bomber jackets. The Japanese-cut outerwear sits in japanese jackets.

Measurements come from the manufacturer's flat size table for each garment, converted to centimetres and mapped onto one size ladder. Available for 45 of the 82 garments here, last checked 2026-10-27. How we measure.

Frequently asked questions

How long are these jackets?

Body length at size M runs 60 cm to 74 cm. The Oversized Zip Jacket is the shortest and the wind-resistant Lightweight Jacket the longest.

Is water-repellent the same as waterproof?

No. A repellent finish beads light rain and damp without the stiffness of a hardshell. Sustained heavy rain will get through.

Can I tumble dry them?

Wash cold and keep anything with a water-repellent finish out of a hot dryer. Heat breaks down the coating faster than washing does.

Do all of them list measurements?

Yes. All fifteen carry a full size chart, and shoots use a 187 cm model or taller with the size worn recorded.

Do you have a canvas jacket for men?

Yes, two. Amaji's Lined Washed Canvas Jacket comes in khaki or brown, sizes XS to L. Amaji's Men's Washed Canvas Chore Jacket is khaki only, sizes XS and S, so check it first if you wear a larger size.

Is there a men's linen jacket here for warm weather?

Two jackets in this collection have linen in their listed name: the Men's Hanfu Jacket, Cotton Linen (XS to L, in white, black, blue or a linen shade) and the Men's Cotton Linen Noragi Jacket (grey, XS to XXL). Read each product page for its full fabric details before you order.
