The hood is the part that fails
Hood construction separates the eleven here more than the body does. A two-panel hood is cheaper and collapses flat against the back of the neck once it has been washed a few times. A three-panel hood holds a shape and sits up when you put it on.
Fabric weight decides whether it stays up. Under 300 gsm a hood folds down under its own weight. The Kagero, a 380 gsm hoodie, does not.
Weight, length and sleeve
The Kagero Sleeveless Hoodie is 100% cotton at 380 gsm, washed, measuring 72 cm long with a 55.5 cm shoulder. Across the group body length at size M runs 51 cm to 74 cm.
Sleeve runs 56.5 cm to 82 cm, so the fit varies much more than the size letter suggests. 9 of the 11 carry a full size chart, sizes run XS to 3XL, and shoots use a 187 cm model or taller. Wash cold and hang dry to keep the hood standing.
Cotton hoodies and sweatshirts
The heavyweight hoodie men reach for in winter is a cotton pullover of 350 g or more, like the heavy cotton hoodie. For a 100% cotton hoodie, the textured zip up hoodie and the Kagero sleeveless hoodie are 100% cotton, and the heavy cotton hoodie is a 350 g pullover. Each comes as a black cotton hoodie too. Without a hood, the sakura sweatshirt is a cotton-rich crew neck with cherry blossom embroidery, in black or white. For a shell to layer over, see jackets.

Can I tumble dry a heavy hoodie?
Hang dry it. Heat shrinks heavyweight cotton and takes the shape out of the hood and the cuffs first.
