Nokai are men's shorts in a 50/50 linen and cotton blend, midweight, with the natural texture of linen softened by the cotton. The fit runs relaxed through the thigh with a slightly shorter length. An elastic waistband and upgraded drawstrings set the waist.
Linen shorts can feel scratchy and crease badly on their own, and the cotton half of this blend fixes both while keeping the breathability and the matte, slightly rough surface that makes linen look so good in summer light. Soft. Breathable. Relaxed.
Fit and sizing
Relaxed through the thigh. Sizes run XS to 3XL. At M the length is 50 cm, the hip 114 cm, the waist 72 cm and the leg opening 63 cm. At 3XL they are 58 cm, 130 cm, 80 cm and 67 cm. Allow 1 to 3 cm.
Fabric and care
50% cotton, 50% linen. Machine wash cold with similar colours. No bleach. Line dry. Expect a soft crease or two.

How to wear them
A plain tee and sandals. An open shirt and espadrilles. A light knit on a cool evening.
Good to know
The slightly shorter length shows a little more leg than a standard short. It suits the relaxed linen look and keeps them cool.
The upgraded drawstrings are thicker than standard cords, so they stay tied and look tidy, even after a day at the beach.
