Pokku Pants, Our Only Denim Harem Cut

Relaxed harem/workwear fit with a tapered leg and rolled cuffs.

A denim harem pant sounds like a contradiction, which is roughly why Pokku exists. It takes the dropped rise and the ease of the harem family and cuts it in 80% cotton denim, so the fabric has weight and a bit of grain to it. Nothing about it feels soft or slouchy in the way the linen blends do.

The leg tapers and the cuffs roll. Rolled once it sits at the ankle, rolled twice it clears it, and the denim holds whichever you pick rather than unrolling itself by lunchtime. Workwear logic applied to a shape that usually avoids it.

Hip is 100 cm at size M with a 94 cm length, so the volume sits high and drains out through the taper. It reads much closer to a regular trouser than Shinbo does.

Break in

Cotton denim stiffens after a wash and loosens again within an hour of wearing. That is the fabric behaving normally, not the sizing being wrong. Give it a week before you judge the fit.

Sizes M to 5XL. Denim has no give across the hip, so unlike the linen cuts there is nothing to stretch into. Take the hip measurement seriously here.
