A padded cotton hanten printed all over with seigaiha, the overlapping waves of Japanese pattern books, and finished with a plain black collar band. It is the short winter jacket Japanese families wear at home, cut loose with wide three-quarter sleeves, a cord tie at the chest and two topstitched patch pockets.
