Relaxed straight fit.
Pure linen creases. Anyone selling you linen that does not is selling you a blend, and Igen is 100% linen, so it will crease across the lap by the end of a train journey and fall out again on the hanger overnight. That is the fabric working, and it is the reason it breathes the way it does.
What you get in exchange is a matte, dry surface that never clings, and the longest leg in the collection at 103 cm through size M. The straight cut and the 43 cm opening mean the trouser hangs from the hip in one line rather than tapering in at the ankle.
It is the dressier option here. Worn with a shirt it reads closer to tailoring than the harem cuts ever will.
Living with linen
Wash cold, line dry, and skip the tumble dryer, which is what actually shrinks linen. It softens with every wash and looks better in year two than year one.
Sizes XS to 3XL, waist 71 cm at M. Yasumi is the same fibre in a shorter, slightly narrower cut if 103 cm is longer than you want.

Ordered the XXL and took a quick mirror pic after trying them on. From the front they look clean and straight, and the leg length works better than I thought it would for me. only note is they wrinkle a bit fast after sitting.

First impression was better than expected, the fabric has a nice soft hand and doesn't feel scratchy. I'm usually a M and the waist is fine, just a bit looser through the thigh than I thought.

Comfortable and the S fits true enough at the waist. I knocked off one star because I wanted a little more drape through the leg, but they're still easy to wear with a tee.

The grey color is pretty close to the photos and not weirdly blue or anything. Fits loose in XS and looks good with sneakers or sandals, which is basically all I needed.

Bought the 3XL for the waist but the length is what I noticed first, actually longer than a lot of pants I've tried. I'm usually an XS in bottoms and still grabbed these because I wanted the oversized look, and it worked out.
