Miyabi are our men's corduroy pants, and the outlier in our Japanese range. No dropped rise, no harem volume. Just a relaxed straight leg cut from 100% cotton corduroy with a finish that needs no ironing. Pull them out of a bag after a weekend and they look like trousers, not an accident.
Corduroy is the cold-weather answer to the linen in the rest of the collection. The wale traps a little air, so it sits warm without the bulk of a heavier cloth. The ridged surface catches light in a way flat cotton does not.
Mid rise. Button placket. One deep back pocket. Restrained on purpose. Miyabi means elegance, and the second version of this pant kept the quiet shape while improving the cloth into the corduroy you see here.
Reading the size chart
This chart is measured flat, laid out and unstretched. The waist reads 34 cm at size S. Double it for the round measurement, or lay a pair you own on a table and compare. At S the hip reads 53 cm flat, the thigh 33.5 cm and the leg opening 19 cm, on a 98 cm length. Length grows to 106 cm at XXL. Recommended height runs from 165 to 170 cm at S up to 185 to 190 cm at XXL.

How to wear them
Black, dark gray or khaki. Pick one. Wear them with a chunky knit and boots in winter, or with a heavy overshirt and plain trainers through the long autumn weeks when the mornings are cold, the afternoons are mild and you want one pair of trousers to cover both. Done.
