Miyabi is the outlier here. No dropped rise, no harem volume, just a relaxed straight leg cut from 100% cotton corduroy with a finish that does not need ironing. Pull it out of a bag after a weekend and it looks like a trouser rather than an accident.
Corduroy is a cold weather answer to the linen in the rest of this collection. The wale traps a little air, so it sits warm without the bulk of a heavier cloth, and the surface catches light in a way flat cotton does not.
Mid rise, button placket, one deep back pocket. Restrained, which is the point. Miyabi means elegance, and the second version of this pant kept the quiet shape and improved the cloth.
Reading the size chart
Miyabi's chart is measured flat, laid out and unstretched, so the waist reads 34 cm at size M rather than a body circumference. Double it for the way round measurement, or just match it against a pair you already own laid out the same way. The other charts in this collection are circumference, so do not compare the two directly.

Wore them out once already and they looked clean in a quick mirror pic with a tee. I'm 6'0" and M gave me that slightly loose straight look without swallowing my legs, which is what I wanted.

Arrived folded up neat and the black looked pretty spot on out of the package. Tried them on straight away and the fit in S was good for my waist, though the corduroy is a little heavier than I expected so probably not my first pick for hot days.

I'm 5'7" and usually wear XS, and these sit how I wanted — a bit relaxed but not sloppy. The corduroy feels softer than I expected and they don't bunch weird at the ankle.
