Kimono-cut cardigan with a crossover front fastened by ties, dropped shoulders and 3/4 sleeves.
This kimono cardigan wears like a light jacket, with the straight body and wide sleeves of a kimono. A pair of ties closes it at the waist. It is 98% cotton, with two riveted patch pockets and 3/4 sleeves.
A kimono cardigan takes the best part of the kimono, the straight body and the crossover front, and leaves out everything that makes it formal, so you get a light cotton layer that ties shut in the morning chill and hangs open in the afternoon, worn over a tee like any other overshirt. Tied. Easy.
Fit and sizing
Loose, with dropped shoulders and 3/4 sleeves. Sizes run XS to XXL. The supplier publishes no measurements, so take your usual size.
Fabric and care
98% cotton, 2% other fibres. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.

How to wear it
Over a tee with wide trousers. Over a hoodie in cooler weather. Tied closed with hakama pants.

Burgundy is the boldest colour. Grey and navy are the most versatile.
Tied closed, the crossover front creates a clean diagonal line across the chest. Worn open, the long front panels fall straight and frame the tee underneath. Both looks work with the same pair of trousers.
Grey is the easiest to start with.
