These lantern pants balloon through the leg and gather at the ankle, the shape of Japanese work trousers. They are 95% cotton with a drawstring waist. The fit is wide.
The lantern shape comes from the Japanese work pants worn on building sites and farms, where a wide leg gives room to crouch and climb and a gathered ankle keeps the hem out of the way, and the same balloon silhouette now looks modern with simple trainers and a plain tee. Round. Roomy.
Fit and sizing
Wide balloon leg, gathered ankle. The relaxed waist measures 71 to 74 cm at XS, 81 to 84 cm at M and 102 to 107 cm at XXL. Lengths run 98 to 105 cm, hips 104 to 124 cm.
Fabric and care
95% cotton, 5% other fibres. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.
Colours
Black or tan.
How to wear them
With a fitted tee and trainers. Under a noragi or a sukajan. With sandals in summer.

The elastic drawstring waist fits a range of sizes comfortably.
