Men's Tie-Side Wrap Pants

Layered wrap pants: a tied skirt panel over wide cropped legs, drawstring waist.

These wrap pants layer a skirt panel over wide cropped legs. Ribbon ties run down both sides and hold the panel in place. The waist has a drawstring, and the legs stop above the ankle.

The side ties do two jobs at once: they keep the panel exactly where it should be when you walk, sit or climb stairs, and they add a vertical line of detail down each leg that makes the whole shape look longer than it is. Tie them tight for a neat line. Loosen them for drape.

Size

One size. The drawstring waist adjusts from 63 to 112 cm. The length is 88 cm with a 40 cm rise. The hip measures 125 cm, the thigh 78 cm and the hem 64 cm. Allow 1 to 3 cm.

Fabric and care

80% polyester and 20% cotton. Untie the ribbons before washing so they do not knot.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry by the waistband so the panels fall straight.

How to wear them

A short black tee keeps the waist visible. In cooler weather, add a cropped jacket. Low boots or sandals both suit the cropped hem. Done.
