High-rise wide-leg trousers with hanging straps and cargo pockets.
Gothic trousers for men tend to share three things: black, loose and full of detail. These have all three. Straps hang from the waist and from the cargo pockets, and the legs run long and wide to the shoe.
The waist sits high and adjusts. The cargo pockets keep the straps company on each side. The fabric is a cotton-polyester blend, mostly polyester, with a slight stretch. It drapes and keeps its black.
Size
One size. The waist adjusts from 65 to 117 cm. The length is 110 cm with a 39 cm rise. The hip measures 128 cm and the hem 80 cm around. On our 187 cm model the hem breaks over the boot. On shorter frames it pools, which suits the look.
Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry. Fasten the straps before washing so they do not tangle.
How to wear them
Keep the top simple and dark. A boxy black tee or a long shirt works. Chunky boots ground the wide leg. The straps carry the detail, so skip extra chains.
The wide leg is what separates these from the skinny black jeans most people picture, and it changes how the outfit moves: the fabric swings when you walk, the straps follow a beat behind, and the whole look feels heavier and more deliberate than a slim cut. Which is the point.
