Men's Japanese Wrap Trousers, Cropped Wide Leg

Japanese wrap trousers in cotton twill. A wrap panel is layered across the front, over a five pocket waist with a button fastening underneath. The panel falls to just above the cropped hem.

The wrap is a Japanese design idea that adds one layer to an ordinary trouser and changes the whole silhouette, and the cotton twill here holds the line of the leg without going stiff, so the panel hangs cleanly and moves with you instead of flapping. Layered. Clean. Japanese.

Fit and sizing

Relaxed through the hip and thigh, with a cropped wide leg. Sizes run XS to XXL. Our model is 189 cm and wears M. The supplier gives a recommended size chart only, so take your usual size.

Fabric and care

Cotton twill. Machine wash cold with like colours. No bleach. Hang to dry or tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed.

Colours

Black or green. Green is the unusual choice and pairs well with cream and grey.

How to wear them

The break at the ankle sits high, so they work over a boot. In summer, wear them with sandals and a boxy tee. In autumn, add a chore jacket.

Why a wrap panel? It adds a second texture to the front and turns a plain trouser into a statement without adding colour or print.

The five pocket waist under the panel gives you a familiar fit and real pockets, so the trousers feel like everyday jeans even though they look anything but.
