The nine tailed fox, kitsune in Japanese folklore, is a spirit that gains a tail for every hundred years it lives, and on a sukajan it becomes a long sweep of raised thread across the shoulders that catches the light whenever you turn. The satin shines without looking wet. Blue. Rich. Detailed.

Relaxed, with a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem. Sizes run XS to XL. Our model is 189 cm and wears M. The supplier gives a recommended size chart only.
Fabric and care
100% polyester satin shell. Hand wash cold or dry clean. No bleach. Hang to dry away from direct sun. Cool iron on the reverse.
How to wear it
Wear it over black and let the back do the talking. Black tee, black trousers and plain shoes. The blue does the rest.
The raised thread is the craft. Each tail is stitched in layers so it stands slightly off the satin, giving the fox depth you can feel with your fingers. The cherry blossom on the chest and sleeve is flatter, so it frames the back without competing. Up close, the detail is remarkable. From a distance, the fox reads in one glance.
