The Pleated Hakama Style Pants cross a pleated panel over legs that measure 138 cm around at the hem. The Belted A-Line Hakama flares to 124 cm and adds a buckled belt across one hip.
The Belted Hakama Trousers run full length, 99 cm from waist to hem. The Wide Pleated Japanese Hakama is the widest pair we make.

Fabric, fit and care
Most pairs are one size with a tie, belt or drawstring waist that covers a wide range of waists, so the length from waist to hem on each product page is the number to compare before you choose. The skirt pants come in sizes from XS to XL. The one-size pairs are 80% polyester and 20% cotton. The pleats stay sharp. Wash cold and hang dry.
Styling a wide hakama
Keep the top fitted. A plain black tee lets the pleats do the talking. A short jacket from haori ends above the panel and keeps the line clean.
