Relaxed body with dropped shoulders, cropped at the hip and gathered by an elasticated band.
A blouson jacket takes its name from the way it blouses: the body is roomy, and an elasticated band gathers it at the hip so the fabric puffs over. This one is cut in the Japanese style, short, with a stand collar and a snap-button front.
The shoulders are dropped and the body is roomy. The cuffs are elasticated and the pockets sit in the side seams, so the front stays clean. The shell is a soft, brushed viscose blend with a matte finish. The lining is polyester.
Fit and length
It is cropped at the hip, about 50 to 65 cm long depending on size. Sizes run XS to XL. The cut is relaxed, so take your usual size. Our model wears M.
How to wear it
The short body works best over something with length. Try it over wide trousers and a longer tee, or with pleated pants and a plain shirt. Khaki keeps it soft and casual. Black dresses it up. Leave the snaps open in spring and close them to the collar when the wind picks up.

Follow the care label. Close the snaps before washing so the front keeps its shape.
Planning to wear it over a thick hoodie in colder months? The dropped shoulders and roomy body leave enough space that you do not need to size up, so stay with your usual size and let the band do the shaping.
