Straight cut to the hip with room to layer over a T-shirt or a knit.

A shirt jacket cut like a work shirt and built like a light jacket. It has a point collar, a snap front and two flap chest pockets closed with snaps, plus side entry pockets. Snap cuffs and a straight cut to the hip finish it.

The shirt jacket is the most useful layer for the in-between months, warmer than a shirt and lighter than a jacket, and a dense polyester twill with a full lining makes this one wind-resistant and smooth to pull on over a tee or a knit, without ever looking like outerwear you need to take off indoors. Light. Useful.

Fit and sizing

Straight cut to the hip. Sizes run XXS to XL. Take your usual size, or size up to layer over a sweater. Our model wears M.

Shell: 100% polyester twill. Lining: 100% polyester. Follow the care label.

Colours

Black, off white, army green, khaki and charcoal. Army green and khaki are the classic work tones.

How to wear it

Open over a white tee with chinos. Closed over a thin knit with jeans. Under a coat in winter.

Good to know

Snaps are faster than buttons and never come loose. The lining lets the jacket glide over a knit instead of catching on it.

With five colours, it is easy to build an outfit around one. Army green with cream trousers is a favourite.
