Very wide hakama-style trousers with a high belted waist; the legs hang like a skirt.
Mens skirt trousers like these take the hakama idea, two legs so wide they read as a skirt, and put it on a plain high-waisted trouser. A fabric belt sits at the waist. The fabric is 90% polyester with a slight stretch.
The hakama silhouette works because of movement: standing still, the wide legs hang straight and look like a long skirt, and when you walk the split between the legs appears. The trousers get a calm, architectural look that ordinary wide-leg pants never quite reach. Wide. Still.
Fit and sizing
Sized by body weight: XS 53 to 70 kg, S 68 to 80 kg, M 75 to 88 kg, L 85 to 100 kg, XL from 110 kg. The waist runs large, so slim builds should take one size down.
Fabric and care
90% polyester, 10% other fibres, slight stretch. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.
How to wear them
With a tucked-in tee and a noragi. With a black shirt and boots. With a long haori for a full Japanese line.

The high rise lengthens the legs. Tuck the top in to show it.
