Very wide asymmetrical pants with overlapping petal panels, drawstring waist.
These asymmetrical pants are cut from overlapping panels that open into curved petals at the hem. No two angles look the same. The waist has a drawstring, and the legs are cut very full, 188 cm around at the hip.
A petal hem is built from panels that curve away from each other where they end, like the outer leaves of a flower, and because each panel is cut to a different length the edge rises and falls around the leg instead of running level. It catches the eye from across a room. It also moves. Walk and the petals part.
Size
One size. The drawstring waist adjusts from 62 to 116 cm. The length is 90 cm with a 40 cm rise. The thigh measures 140 cm and the hem 65 cm. Allow 1 to 3 cm.
Fabric and care
80% polyester and 20% cotton. The panels keep their curve after washing.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry by the waistband so the panels fall straight.
How to wear them
Keep the top simple and fitted. A black tee or a short knit. The hem is the event, so pick shoes that leave it visible: low boots, sandals or tabi.
