A short kimono jacket with a crane embroidered at the hem, the bird that stands for long life in Japan. It closes with a tie at the front and has wide 3/4 sleeves. The fabric is a cotton blend with 10 to 15% polyester.
The crane, tsuru in Japanese, is one of the most loved symbols in Japanese art, linked to long life and good fortune and folded into paper cranes for wishes, and placing a single embroidered crane at the hem keeps the jacket plain from a distance while giving it a detail worth noticing up close. Loose, with a straight body. Sized by body weight: XS 45 to 55 kg, S 50 to 60 kg, M 57 to 67 kg, L 65 to 75 kg, XL 72 to 82 kg, XXL 80 to 95 kg. Our model is 188 cm and wears M.
Fabric and care
Cotton blend with 10 to 15% polyester. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.

How to wear it
Over a white tee with black trousers. Over a hoodie. Tied closed with wide pants.
Good to know
Red is a lucky colour in Japan and suits the crane. Navy and grey are quieter.
The short length sits at the hip, so it pairs best with high-waisted or wide trousers.
