A Japanese cherry blossom sweatshirt with detailed sakura embroidery across the chest and sleeves, on a substantial 320gsm cotton-rich base. The fabric contains 51 to 70% cotton. It is a loose crew neck, not a hoodie.

Sakura is the Japanese name for cherry blossom, the flower that blooms for only a week or two each spring and has become a symbol of beauty and the passing of time, and embroidery gives the branch a raised, textured look that a printed graphic cannot match, so the sweatshirt feels crafted. Fit and sizing

Loose, true to US size. The chest measures 108 cm at M, 112 cm at L, 116 cm at XL, 120 cm at XXL and 124 cm at XXXL. Lengths run 68 to 76 cm. The chart suggests M for 165 to 173 cm and L for 173 to 175 cm.

Fabric and care

Cotton-rich fabric, 51 to 70% cotton, 320gsm. Wash cold inside out. No bleach. Dry flat or line dry.

Colours

Black, white, black plus velvet and white plus velvet. The plus-velvet versions have a brushed lining for winter.

How to wear it

With wide trousers and trainers. Under an open noragi. With jeans in spring.
