Two-piece jinbei: tie-front top with short sleeves, and loose shorts.
This kimono jinbei is a light cotton set in a woven jacquard or a plain weave, made for the hottest nights. The top ties at the side. The shorts sit easy at the waist. It is 99% cotton.
The jinbei is the summer cousin of the kimono, cut short and split into a top and shorts so it stays cool, and a jacquard weave adds a pattern woven into the cloth itself instead of printed on top. The fabric stays breathable and gains a subtle texture that catches the light. Woven. Cool.
Fit and sizing
Loose. The chest measures 110 cm at XS and 118 cm at S. Shorts lengths run 56 to 58 cm. Our model is 187 cm and wears S. Allow 2 to 3 cm.
Fabric and care
99% cotton, 1% other fibres. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.

Dark grey, green jacquard, grey jacquard and light grey.
How to wear it
As a set at home or at a summer festival. The top alone over light summer trousers.
Good to know
The jacquard options carry a woven pattern. The plain weaves are calmer.
Light cotton dries quickly after a wash.
Cotton jinbei sets get softer with every wash. Two sizes cover most builds thanks to the loose cut, and the shorts have plenty of room through the thigh for sitting cross-legged.
