A Japanese button up shirt in the plain, boxy, dropped-shoulder cut of Japanese casual shirts. It is 100% cotton, a dense washed twill at 200 g. Short sleeves. Five colours.
Japanese casual shirts are known for a boxy cut that falls straight from wide shoulders and ends at the hip, never tucked, and a washed cotton twill gives that shape a soft, slightly worn surface, so the shirt looks relaxed and considered at the same time with nothing more than chinos. Boxy. Calm.
Fit and sizing
Boxy fit. Take your usual size. The chest measures 120 cm at XS, 124 cm at S, 128 cm at M and 132 cm at L. Lengths run 71 to 77 cm. Our model is 187 cm and wears M. Allow 1 to 3 cm.
Fabric and care
100% cotton, washed twill, 200 g. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.
Colours
Black, white, light grey, dark grey and apricot.
How to wear it
Untucked over wide trousers. Open over a tee. With shorts in summer.
Good to know
Washed twill is soft from the first wear and gets softer with time.
Apricot is the warm, distinctive colour. The greys are easy everyday picks.
The boxy cut is meant to be worn out, not tucked in.
