Relaxed fit with extra room through the silhouette.
A mandarin collar shirt cut short in the sleeve, in a woven jacquard. Knotted fastenings run the length of the stand collar front. A welt pocket sits on the chest. The pattern is woven into the cloth, not printed on it.
It follows the tang suit, the traditional Chinese shirt and jacket cut, and the jacquard is what lifts it: the surface catches light without shine, so the pattern appears and fades as you move, and up close you can see the weave run through both sides of the fabric. Subtle. Textured.
Fit and sizing
Relaxed, with short sleeves and a stand collar. Sizes run XS to L. Our model wears M. The supplier gives a recommended size chart only, so take your usual size.
Fabric and care
Polyester jacquard. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. No bleach. Hang to dry. Cool iron only.
Colours
Black, dark gray, green and apricot. Green and apricot are the summer picks. Black and dark gray dress up.
How to wear it
Wear it open over a plain tee, or closed on its own with the knots done up. Wide trousers and loafers suit both.
Jacquard is woven on a loom that lifts each thread separately, so the pattern is built into the cloth line by line. It costs more to make than a print, never cracks or peels, and keeps its depth after many washes.
