Relaxed body with dropped shoulders, gathered at the waist by a rib-knit hem.
A drizzler jacket, the zip-front work and golf jacket known in Japan as the swing top. It has a point collar, a full zip and rib-knit cuffs and hem. Zipped pockets sit at the sides. The shell is a close polyester oxford with a full polyester lining.
The drizzler was made for golfers in light rain, short enough to swing a club and closed at the cuffs and hem to keep the weather out, and Japanese workwear brands turned it into the swing top, a staple worn over a shirt to the office or over a tee at the weekend. Classic. Light.
Fit and sizing
Relaxed cut with dropped shoulders. Take your usual size. The chest measures 116 cm at XS, 124 cm at M and 136 cm at XXL. Lengths run 66 to 76 cm. The chart suggests M for 170 to 175 cm.
Fabric and care
Shell: 100% polyester. Lining: 100% polyester. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry.
Colours
Black, khaki or grey.
How to wear it
Over a shirt with chinos. Over a tee with jeans. Zipped up on a breezy day.
Good to know
Khaki is the classic drizzler colour. Black and grey are more urban.
The rib-knit hem gathers the waist into a clean, blouson line.
A full lining means the jacket slips on easily over a shirt or a knit. The zipped side pockets keep a phone and keys secure on a bike or a train, and the short length works with both jeans and chinos.
