How to wear it:
Wear the women's hakama pants with a plain T-shirt, a fitted knit or a shirt tucked in, and flat shoes or boots. The pleated panel moves like a skirt when you walk and reads as wide trousers when you stand. Black on black is the easy start; a white tee lifts it.

The legs are wide and the waist sits high. Take your usual size, or one size down if you are between sizes and want a neater waist. The size table lists the body measurements each size is cut for.

What are hakama pants?
Hakama are the wide, pleated Japanese trousers once worn by samurai and still worn in martial arts and at ceremonies. Modern hakama pants keep the pleats and the wide leg but close with an ordinary waistband.
What is the women's hakama pants made of?

Can men and women wear them?
