A cotton hanten, the short padded jacket Japanese families wear at home in winter, with two koi leaping out of a breaking wave across the back. The front is plain: a crossed collar band, a cord tie at the chest and two patch pockets.
Fabric
Cotton shell, acrylic wadding, polyester lining.
Fit
One size, cut loose with wide three-quarter sleeves and a hip-length body, between 50 and 65 cm long. Wear it open over a sweater or tied over a tee.
Colours
Black or navy, both with the cream koi print on the back.
Care
Wash cold on a gentle cycle and dry flat so the padding stays even.
