Boxy short-sleeve lyocell shirt with patch pockets and a drawstring hem.
A lyocell shirt cut boxy with short sleeves. Two patch pockets sit on the front. A drawstring at the hem lets you pull it in or leave it straight.
Lyocell is a fibre made from wood pulp in a closed-loop process, smooth, cool and strong, and on a boxy summer shirt it gives a fluid drape that moves with you and feels cool against the skin on the hottest days of the year. Smooth. Cool.
Size
One size, boxy. The chest measures 130 cm, the length 75 cm, the shoulder 65 cm and the sleeve 20 cm. Allow 1 to 2 cm.
Fabric and care
At least 96% lyocell. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.
Colour
Black.
How to wear it
Straight with wide trousers. Gathered at the hem with shorts. Open over a tank.
Good to know
Pull the drawstring for a blouson shape. Leave it loose for a clean, boxy line.
Patch pockets hold sunglasses or a phone. They sit flat, so the boxy line stays clean even when they are full.
Hang it to dry. Lyocell keeps its drape and needs little ironing.
The boxy cut suits every build. It skims the body without clinging.
Black lyocell has a soft sheen that looks richer than a matte jersey. It works for a summer dinner as well as a day at the market. One shirt, many occasions, very little ironing.
