Apron trousers: a wide leg trouser worn under a separate apron panel. The overlay fastens at an elasticated waist and falls to an uneven hem. A fine striped section runs down the centre, with deep pockets on either side. The trouser underneath stays plain and wide.
The apron layer borrows from Japanese workwear and avant-garde design at once, giving a plain black trouser a second dimension of texture and movement, and because the panel is fixed you never have to adjust or retie it during the day. Layered. Dark. Easy.
Fit and sizing
Wide leg with a layered overlay and an elasticated waist. Sizes run XS to XXL. Our model wears M. The supplier gives a recommended size chart only, so take your usual size.
Fabric and care
Polyester. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. No bleach. Hang to dry. Cool iron only.
How to wear them
Keep the top half simple and let the layering do the work. A plain black tee or a fitted knit. Boots or chunky trainers. One colour, head to toe.
What makes it work is contrast. The stripe in the middle and the uneven hem catch the eye, while the plain trouser underneath keeps everything grounded.
The deep pockets on each side are practical too. Phone, keys and wallet disappear inside without spoiling the drape of the apron, so the outline stays clean all day.
