Cotton stretch gym shorts with a bit of stretch built in. Mid-rise waist, straight cut, regular weight. An easy everyday short, nothing dressed up about it.
Cotton with stretch is the most comfortable fabric for a gym short you also wear around town: it feels soft against the skin like a tee, the stretch lets you squat and lunge without the hem riding up, and it looks like a normal pair of shorts afterwards, so you can go straight from the gym to lunch. Soft. Flexible.
