Men's Cropped Double Breasted Peacoat

Boxy cropped double-breasted coat with dropped shoulders.

A cropped peacoat: double-breasted, cut short to end at the hip, with wide notched lapels and dropped shoulders. The fabric is a dense 100% polyester with a soft brushed face. Flap pockets sit at the front.

The classic peacoat is a naval coat that falls to mid-thigh, and cropping it at the hip turns a formal coat into something closer to a jacket, easier to wear with wide trousers and trainers and better proportioned on shorter frames, while the double-breasted front and wide lapels keep all of its character. Short. Strong.

Size

One size, boxy. The chest measures 138 cm, the length 66 cm, the shoulder 62 cm and the sleeve 55 cm. Our model is 188 cm. Allow 1 to 2 cm.

Fabric and care

100% polyester, dense with a brushed face. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash cold. Hang to dry.

Colours

Black or khaki.

How to wear it

Over a knit with wide trousers and boots. Over a hoodie for a streetwear twist. Leave it open to show the lapels.

Good to know

The boxy one-size cut means the coat layers over thick knits without strain.

A cropped coat also shows off trousers. Pleated or wide-leg pants look their best under it, with the full drape visible below the hip.

Khaki is softer and works with brown and cream. Black is the classic naval choice.

The wide lapels frame the face and look good turned up against the wind.
